I'm Batuhan Asig the head instructor at Grappling070. I've been doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 14 years, and I'm excited to share my love for this amazing discipline with all of you."Teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a job for me. It's my way of giving back and spreading the joy I've found in this incredible martial art. Seeing the positive impact BJJ has had on my life. I'm driven to help others discover these same benefits.I hold the brown belt and have actively competed in numerous tournaments, gathering experience on the highest level.

My coaching philosophy centers on teaching students advanced and exclusive moves, like heel hooks, early in their training. I believe it’s far better to be familiar with a technique long before it's allowed in competition, rather than scrambling to learn it once it becomes permissible. Mastery takes time, and starting early gives my students a competitive edge. This way my students develop a deep understanding of the mechanics, defense strategies, and when to safely apply submissions.
